Depping and Gig stand-in

The show must go on…!

As a dep (deputy) musician, my role is to provide temporary support or fill in for regular band members who are unable to perform for a planned gig or event. A good dep can adapt quickly, learn repertoire, and ensure a seamless performance, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism when you need us most.

Having depped with a number of bands and artists, even with as little as 3 hours notice, you can be reassured that you’re getting someone who will be reliable and prepared no matter what the gig.

“Sarah has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is punctual gels well with my band Danger Close, whom she has played gigs with and helped us out on recording our first single; not to mention her awesome bass playing, she really has added a much needed edge to our original songs especially with the punchy tone and smooth licks. Sarah is truly a pleasure to work with and we all look forward to working with her again in the near future.”

“Sarah is an absolute joy to work with professionally. My most recent experience working with Sarah was at a national Battle of the Bands competition in which Sarah played in 3 of the finalist bands- 2 of which she was depping for as their bassists had all dropped out. Not only did she play the material perfectly, adapting seamlessly to each band’s style, but she did so with enthusiasm, energy and professionalism. “

“Sarah was very professional, showed up on time with sheet music she’d prepared herself using our guide tracks. She played our songs while putting her own little spin on them whilst still playing what we needed with awesome stage prescence.”
